Award-winning store built in Northallerton.
Jomast has completed work on a brand-new retail unit for Marks and Spencer in Northallerton.
The new store, which sits on the site of the former Rutson Hospital, has been built to provide a more substantial M&S Foodhall, with an expanded product range and a café.
Designed by GT3 Architects for Jomast, it replaced the retail giant’s unit on the high street and was thoughtfully designed to respect and fit into the historic plot pattern of Northallerton. The building has won a regional Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) award for its architectural excellence.
