Prestigious plans for luxury homes, a country club and new community and leisure facilities at Wynyard Village have been revealed by Jomast Developments and Wynyard Golf Club.
The proposed development will comprise around 66 luxury apartments, 60 detached homes, a country club with a swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, and community and leisure facilities, including a farm shop, deli, gym and restaurant/café.
Further investment in the existing championship golf course and the creation of new cycle and walking routes and extensive sustainable landscaping are also planned. In addition, Jomast will be financially contributing towards the delivery of off-site affordable housing within Stockton.
The development will create a number of local jobs during the development phase and once up and running.
The site lies to the east and south of Wynyard Village and has an existing championship golf course and clubhouse. It currently has outline planning permission for the development of a 50-bedroom five-star hotel with leisure facilities, tennis courts, and 44 executive houses.
The development will provide superb new leisure and sporting facilities that will benefit the wider village community and create a residential development at the highest level.
Adam Hearld, Jomast’s Development Director, said:
“This is an aspirational and prestigious development of luxurious homes for families, young professionals and affluent older generations, alongside new leisure, sporting and community facilities in a high-quality landscaped environment.
“It has been carefully designed to meet the needs of the existing and new Wynyard community whilst creating a truly sustainable place to live.
“We would like to hear the views of as many people as possible, which will be considered before any plans are submitted to the planning authority.”
